Welcome to the Old Victorians Association Website

From the OVA President - Leigh Bissett

The OVA is an association for the former pupils, teachers and friends of Queen Victoria School in Dunblane, Scotland. The major aim of this group is to provide a social network for those who attended the school offering support and advice where possible. Our values and aspirations are ones of integrity, discipline and honesty and we aim to encourage this both at the school and on leaving the school.

The association has been undergoing major changes in the last few years and the constitution which was last updated in 2003 is being altered to allow a wider membership of supporters. Membership to the association is currently limited to old boys and girls of the school, as well as teachers who share our values.

If you would like to make direct contact with the Old Victorians Association you can contact us here.

I would encourage all of you Old Victorians, teachers and former teachers, supporters and families however associated with the school now or in the past, to please get involved. My personal mission is to make the OVA relevant and active and I look forward to hearing from you. For those of you who made the biggest OVA Reunion ever organised in March 2012, I look forward to meeting you all again next March in Dunblane.

Please keep a watch on this website, join our facebook group and follow us on twitter!

The OVA Website | Keeping Up To Date

We are very pleased to have launched this new website for all Old Victorians.

In the next few months we will be continually adding more ways for you to connect and interact with the association. This will enable us all to reconnect with old friends, teachers and families, but also we hope, with new OVs that you meet at the events that we will be helping to organise throughout the world.

We are acutely aware that very few OVs are able to just pop in to events being organised in Dunblane! Primarily because we are scattered around the globe and a visit is not just a 10 minute drive for most of us.

Therefore we have plans to organise regional events wherever we can find an OV willing to give a little time, and the association will offer support for each and every event. If this appeals to you, please get in touch through the contact page.

There are many other ideas on the table for discussion at the the OVA Weekend next March, and so if you have considered a short holiday to take in QVS, why not make it next March 2013, and join us for what we hope will eclipse this year and be the biggest reunion yet organised?
